Breakfast at Cup & Cake. We found this cafe as we walked down the street from our hotel looking for a place to eat. We went back every single morning. It was soooo good.
The Sagrada Família is, so far, the most impressive cathedral I have seen in Europe. I could not believe how detailed the facade was, how a human being can come up with this unique architectural design on such a grand scale and then build it with such minute, detailed carvings - and this all commenced from 1882 (thanks, Wiki). Incredible. It's a must-visit. Gaudi is a genius.
More of Gaudi's genius-ness.
Barcelona, 4-7 September 2014.
My birthday is on 7 September so the night before we went to a Flamenco show, ate Paella, tapas and drank Sangria! Not a bad way to enter my late-twenties I'd say.
