Geneva/Renens/Lausanne, Switzerland
20-24 February 2015
A huge, HUGE tick off the bucket list.
I took a few snaps on my phone since I couldn't exactly lug around my camera in my jacket.
No doubt, it would have been crushed into pieces on the first day. Snowboarding in five years caused my body a lot of pain and bruises - big, bad, purple bruises on my knees - but after the first day, I was able to properly snowboard. Tip: if you are a beginner, ask for a shorter board to start off with!
It was an incredible experience.
I dreamed of one day snowboarding in the Swiss Alps and it actually happened sooner than expected.

Generous friends who live in Switzerland invited us to stay at their place, lent me their ski jacket and allowed us to use their car to drive up to the snow. Otherwise, I was planning to go in 2016 as Switzerland is known for being incredibly expensive.
If W & A are reading this, thank you again so much!
Feeling grateful and blessed!
